None I stumbled onto this technical marvel on sale at at shop in Yosemite and I can say it is, without a doubt the best $95 I have ever spent. I''ve known Mountain Hardwear to make the best gear, hands down, no competition and this jacket doesn''t disappoint. Last winter I got rid of all my North Face gear and went with Mtn Hardwear - 3 straight days boarding in 30 mile-per-hour gusts, 12 degree weather, and moderate snowfall at Timberline on Mt. Hood and all I wore was this fleece and a capilene undershirt. I am absolutely amazed at how well this thing keeps you warm. Pay full price if you have to - but get this baby - you won''t be disappointed. Customer Service Never had to talk to them - their gear is absolutely bombproof. None A friend let me borrow this jacket for a couple of weeks. When he wanted it back I thought twice about giving it back to him. I absolutely love this jacket. It feels great and it protects you against the really cold weather. It also looks nice when you wear it and he''s had it for over a year and it''s still like brand new. I''m getting one for this winter. If they weren''t so expensive I''d probably get 2 or 3. That''s how much I adore this piece of clothing. Go and get one for yourself. It''s worth the money Similar Products Used: None |

I am always sceptical when I see so many glowing reviews of a product, but in the case of this Mountain Hardwear jacket the reviews are entirely warranted. This is a fantastic piece of equipment...highly adaptable to the extremely varying conditions that we face here. Whether you are walking down the main street in winter, climbing a 9000' peak, or hiking in the local forest park, this is the piece of equipment that you should have with you. I was lucky enough to get the jacket in a sale, but would have happily paid full price. Customer Service None required yet. Similar Products Used: TNF, Macpac |

This jacket is great. The only problem with it is that it can be too warm during very active activities. I treated my jacket with NIKWAX Polar Proof and water beads off like a fleshly waxed car. I liked the jacket so much that I bought the matching pants. Customer Service MHW has great service and they stand behind everything they sell. Similar Products Used: Various fleece jackets |

I really like this jacket because it is so warm and windproof. The rough winters in suburban Chicago can be brutal... My wife liked mine so much, she got one for herself! Hey this site is the best... Similar Products Used: None |

Best piece of gear I own, hands down. It's versatility and quality make it the only jacket I reach for. In the winter I wear a vest over it and i'm good to 20 deg. I've owned it for 2 years now and i've worn it probably 250 days and its barley showing any wear. It's tuff as nails. Customer Service no need for customer service... it wont fail you. This jacket is awesome. I've never extolled the virtues of a piece of outdoor gear until now. This is the best jacket I've ever owned, and probably the single greatest/usable/useful/reliable piece of gear I own. Great in mild rain or very windy conditions. Keeps me warm without a shell in all but the most harsh 3 season conditions. My only wish is that it had a hood, but a hat or baclava works fine. A bit pricey at full retail. Why? I don't know. This jacket is the best thing i have ever spent $120 on! It is super warm, pretty small and light, and super tough. It's really good for layering also. I can't feel any wind, light rain doesn't go through it either. I would recommend buying this jacket! Escpecially if you find it on sale! Customer Service I never needed to talk to them because they build a solid product! Similar Products Used: North Face windstopper (It sucked! I hated it's venting, and the cuffs. It also fell apart on my 20 day trek! And i froze!) |
