Helly Tech™, a microporous hydrophilic coating is "knifed" into polyester ripstop fabric making this jacket permanently waterproof and breathable. Diagonal pit zippers allow ventilation control. Hood adjusts to fit over or under a helmet--complete with volume, peripheral and around-the-face adjustments. Zippered pockets are accessible even if you're wearing a backpack; zippered security inside pocket stores valuables. Elastic/Velcro® cuff closures provide a snug, non-binding fit; push them up over your elbows for ventilation. Single-hand drawcord adjustment at hem seals out the elements. Hydrophobic polyester lining facilitates moisture transport away from you. Two-way center front zipper is protected by a double raingutter stormflap. Fully-taped seams ensure complete waterproof protection.
