Icicle Creek Rainshed Parka Men's Shell Jackets

Icicle Creek Rainshed Parka Men's Shell Jackets

DESCRIPTION

This parka has all the features found on high-priced parkas, like waterproof fabric, underarm zips and integral hood, but at an unheard of price!. Nylon ripstop/2-layer construction is fully factory seam taped for breathable, wind and waterproof protection. Upper body is lined with nylon mesh for enhanced air circulation while the hood and lower body is lined with nylon taffeta for easy on/off. Integral hood rolls down and secures out of the way when not in use; side and back hood adjustments tailor the fit and allow good peripheral vision. Adjustable, elastic/Velcro(R) cuffs and elastic drawcord with toggles at waist and bottom hem seal in warmth and provide an exceptional fit. Two side handwarmer pockets with Velcro closure and 1 vertical chest pocket keeps gear close at hand. Special Buy.

Good for the price but like all things in life you get what you pay for. I haven't figured out how to wrap the hood up either! The jacket is not good in the rain.

Great design, only 1 problem! The parka is not waterproof by any means. 30 minutes of rain.. then I am wet.. not gortex

I purchased the parka while on vacation in California.I have had over 50 people try and suggest ways to re-pack the hood when not in use, so that is has an acceptable appearance. As of yet, no one has come up with a suitable fix. Can anyone help? Its a long way back to California to return it. Does Icicle Creek retail in Canada ?
