Gore-Tex(R) Paclite construction is super-lightweight and packable, yet delivers Gore's "Guaranteed to Keep You Dry" promise. Nylon ripstop fabric with Gore-Tex membrane is unlined to save weight and bulk; seams are taped for waterproofness. Deep front zipper allows easy on and off over other layers; features easy-grab plastic zipper pull. Integral hood has stiffened visor, volume adjustment cord and toggle in back and snaps for rolling it out of the way when not in use. Twin vertical-zip chest pockets hold gear out of the way of pack straps or climbing harness. Generous, zippered underarm vents let you stay cool when you're working hard; twin sliders allow venting from top or bottom. Drawcord and toggle closures at waist and hem keep warm air in, cold and snow out; rear hem is curved for added coverage.
