Bought these pants for 180 dollars, not a bad price for a 3 layer gore-tex. Light, packable, re-inforced in the right places. I wore them riding my bike in the snow, went down, slid for 3 feet on slushy pavement, thought for sure that I had put a hole in the pants, but I'd just put a little scuff on the knee, no loss in waterproofness and the mark is very difficult to find. Only thing I wish is that they had overflaps for the zippers, although I've never had them leak. Similar Products Used: None |

I've used these Marmot pants for 2 winter seasons on backcountry short and longer ski trips. They look great, feel great, but they're not cheap. They're very easy to put on and off due to full side zippers, they weigh very little and for a "going light" fanatic like me they work buitifully. The H2O never got through it so far !!!. The only thing I would change is more adjustability in the waist. They also seam to give in to sharp ski edges a little, but nothing that a few patches wouldn't fix.
