I bought the Men's version at one of REI's member sales for 50 bucks. I think they are great by them selves, or as an outer layer in the cold. They are easy to put on and take off thanks to the side zips. I wore them when I climbed up Mt. Baldy's Devils Backbone in the winter. In some places I was post holing up to the top of my thigh. They kept me dry and comfy. Anyway, I could go wrong with a pair of "Gore" pants that cost me so little. |

I have the mens version of these pants and love them! They keep me dry in all conditions, breathe well, pack up small in their own pocket, and have side zips for easy on and off with any footwear. There is no excuse for not packing rainwear anymore. I just wish they were a little cheaper! Customer Service Damn good service. Replaced my fleece jacket with flaws, no questions asked. Lifetime warrantee is the best! Similar Products Used: None |

I have the men's version of this great gore-tex shell (the site wouldn't allow me to submit a new men's thunderlight review). Anyway, this is a great lightweight pant that allows plenty of adjustment and has extra reinforcement at critical areas for wear and tear. Full length side zips allow plenty of ventilation possibilities and everything neatly packs into the back-pocket sack. A little pricy but another quality item from Marmot.
