Bought these as an all around shell pant for climbing and as rain gear. I recommend not using them for mountaineering b/c they just don't hold up. I blew out the crotch seams the third time out on a mellow glissade. Should have used a different pant, but I have faith in MHW's gear. I sent them back and they did a little reinforcement and replaced the material and have since had no problems (still climbing in 'em). I'm super hard on my gear and other than the blown seam (which was my fault anyway) I have no issues with them. Definitely waterproof, and fairly breathable. A great pant to stuff in your pack to have for when the nasty comes out of the sky. The original Paclite does yellow very quickly, but no problems with performance...just looks like you have toxic farts. Customer Service Repaired my pants for free, even though it was my fault. MHW is great to its customers! Similar Products Used: too many to list |

Ahhhhh, this is true quality. I previously owned a TNF Packlite Devil's Thumb(being returned for a refund) and I was skeptical about the quality of the packlite in these pants. I was wrong, the only thing that made the jacket bad was the manufacturer. I am deffinately a MH fan for now. Customer Service No service has been necessary.
