heart rate monitor is not very accrate(not as accurate as the Polar) Accuracy is o.k. went riding a bike but not too good for running due to bouncing motion. The watch will run 3 to 10 seconds off per week. Need to clean your skin and the sensors with alcohol before use. Good functional watch, not as wild looking as the Polar. Will function near electrical motor. Similar Products Used: Polar (very accurate)but don't function too well around electrical equipments. |

Good product. It is first and formost a Timex sportswatch that also functions as a heart rate monitor. Therefore, all of the watch functions are logical and simple to use. The heart rate functions, while not as fancy or as plentiful as Polar models, are also simple to program and read. The chest strap is is wider than most, but comfortable and stable. The "FM transmission" is solid and I have had not interference. I use it mainly for running and cycling, and have been very satisfied with its performance. Customer Service Not used. I bought this monitor for cycling after using a friends Polar device. I was a bit skeptical as this is a new foray into this field for Timex....but I was not dissapointed. I''ve used ironman watches for years now, and the HRM is as reliable and durable as the namesake. Plus it looks decent. Similar Products Used: Polar |
