Light stiff shoe that has a bit higher ride than I like and a softer heel strike than most adiprene enhanced adidas, BUT the fit is superb, really. This shoe will snugly go with thorlos or coolmax with no change in feel or temperature. Water reisitent(not yet tested), and excellent tread for grassy, mildy muddy and and trail running minus bouldering. A compatible shoe be it off-road terrain or on road treks. COMPLAINT-the stiching at heel iscoming apart from shoe allowing my heel to did into the hard plastic shank of the heel, not so good and too mushy on full wt. bearing in that same defective shoe.
