Toughest pair of shoes I own. Climbed up Mt. Ugu, Mt. Lumot and Mt. Sumagaya in them. Never failed me. Wonderful traction. I already own two pairs. One in yellow and the other in blue. Similar Products Used: Saucony Grid Shadow 7 |

after comps with similar, and way more "serious" gear, i tried these for trainnig in trail conditions varying form moderate to hard. The results on such experiment? SALOMON SUCKS! not only the shoe retained water(perspiration too) in the toe box and under the laces, but the inexplicably famous contagrip sole did NOT resist after only 4 hours, and unglued itself from the chassis..which is good. ....read the customer service part for history end... Customer Service I went inmediately to the customer service, and they said that no return was posible due to misuse in their product..(ven if this may be true (maybe) i only used them ONCE, and it teared appart almost instantly..) so no money refound, no new pair in case mine was the one-in-a-million that just skips manufacture-controls, not even a discount in other pairs!! (the case is now on the "Servicio Nacional del Consumidor", expecting some sort of trial) Similar Products Used: bff!! nothing's similar.. maybe golf shoes have the same performance. |

Likes: Light weight, lace system features a no-slip lock on the top eyelet. Torsionally rigid for good stablility. Rugged "contagrip" sole for traction while scrambling on rocks. Despite claims of ventilation, the padded tongue holds in heat even with thin running socks. |
