I bought these a year ago and only recently had a chance to try them out. They were the correct size but were a bear to try to pull on, esp my left foot. By the time I got to the trailhead in them, which wasn't far at all, the left one was killing me so I limped back to the car. The heel counter was so tight it had pulled the skin right off the back of my heel. Needless to say that was the end of my hiking day and I haven't been able to wear shoes for days since, waiting for it to heal.

Customer Service

Campmor's $49 price was great and I'm hoping for a refund. I sent a polite email to Teva about the problem and they never bothered to email me back.

I bought these shoes for lightweight backpacking and so I could walk through slippery creeks. I have been very impressed with them. I paid $8.95 for shipping & handling. A more detailed review should be available on OutdoorsBound.com.

Customer Service

I ordered them online and was pleased with the whole process.

I bought these after seeing them on sale at a fashion store. I'd had my eye on them as a trail running/canyoning sort of shoe, but I just didnt really need them. But on sale I couldn't resist. I dont agree with the others saying that they have good support. The support is ok, and I find that the strapping system lets your feet move a bit too much when traversing steep river banks. Overall I like the shoes. They're light, they drain well and are comfortable. I used them on a 3 day fastpacking/rafting trip, and they were good, but not great. Use with anything more than a light daypack isn't great. And hey they're a good shoe for going out too.

My experience with Teva's is mostly with an old pair of their original sandals -- did the job, but hard on the feet. I understand that new models are much more comfortable. When I saw a friend with the ricochet, I thought it was the oddest looking shoe I'd ever seen. On his advice, I bought a pair.
Extremely comfortable, terrific traction wet or dry, and they dry out quickly. The lacing allows for a tight fit which then self-adjusts as you flex the shoe. I've used the ricochet for wet sports and for dry-pavement running. It seems to work for running just as well as my tried and true running shoes. Richochet seems to be durable, but time will tell. No complaints as all. Recommended.

I needed a sturdy, drainable shoe to change into in case trail conditions got "submerged". I found both in the Ricochet.

It offers great arch support (I can tell you this as an expert on the subject since I have the world's flattest feet), and are drained and dry within minutes when wet.

The lacing and tightening system are first rate, they really allow you to get them synched down tight.

Great Shoes! Retail is a little steep for this kind of shoe (about $90) so get them on sale if you can.
