I bought these shoes for marathon training last year. I started my training just 6 months after having knee surgery to clean up patellar cartilage damage caused by severe overpronation. I have prescription orthotics, but find them uncomfortable to run distances in. Ever since I started training in these, over a year ago, I can honestly say my knees have been trouble free and comfortable. I have run hundreds of miles on two pairs of these shoes. If they fit you well, I highly recommend them to overpronators everywhere :) Similar Products Used: None |

These shoes are recommended for heavy runners and/or runners who need extra stability. Even though I am fairly light(5'4", 105 lbs) I decided to try these shoes after a knee injury forced me to stop running for a while. I suspected the injury had to do with my overpronation and I wanted a shoe that would correct this. After my knee healed, I have been using these shoes regularly and havent had any problems with my knee since. I would recommend this shoe for a runner who needs extra stability and motion control. The only thing that you sacrifice in order to get the extra stability is weight. It is a fairly heavy shoe that works well for training only and not racing. |
