Unique, stretch Gore-Tex tongues eliminate bulk and discomfort associated with traditional gusseted tongues, but don't sacrifice waterproof protection. Lightweight, synthetic leather and mesh uppers won't absorb water on the trail. Terra-Flex 2000(TM) platform construction combines shock-absorbing midsoles, a flexible nylon protection plate and aggressive rubber lug outsoles. Shock-absorbing dual-density foam midsoles are thicker around the perimeter for stability and control. Nylon protection plates flex with your feet for comfortable walking or running, while providing a rigid platform for hiking and biking. FasTrax carbon rubber outsoles grip on a multitude of surfaces. IntegraFit(TM) construction ensures accurate flex points, roomy toe boxes, reduced heel slippage, medial support and comfortable contact with feet. Rubber toe rand adds durability.
