The SB is salmonon's park oriented snowblade. I think they have a centered stance and sidecut.

Strength:
Good control and carvability.
Weakness:
Not as sturdy for freestyling. I thought I would buy LINE brand, but when I compared them to these Solomon's I went with the SBten's. These are a bit lighter and more flexible making it easier to carve and control my speed on any slope. The LINE boards are probably better for rail slides... if you're into that stuff. Double Diamond
Strength:
Wider, longer, better bindings, tip guard, large grindbase, stronger materials
Weakness:
Heavier than my old blades, uhhh, they cost more than the old ones? Before the SB-10's, I used K2 Big Air snowblades. The Sb-10's are about 7 1/2 inches longer than the K2's, and I could feel the difference in the back of the ski, where I needed more space for landing. The SB's are also wider, which gives me a sturdier platform for grinding. I got them on sale from $350, so I couldn't pass up the deal. Similar Products Used: K2 Big Air snowblades |

Double Diamond
Strength:
Great looking graphics, perfect size, and easy to adjust bindings.
Weakness:
A little long for a non-releasing binding... crossing my fingers=) I like them so much that I bought two! Having bought these at the end of last season, I only was able to ride for one day so far. The Salomon SB Ten seems to be the perfect size for me (about 185 lbs) and they do not sink in the soft snow as bad as shorter skiboards and snowblades do. My overall experience with these was great, and I can hardly wait until next season to use them. Similar Products Used: Kniessel Big Foot, Klimax TKT, Klimax Redline, etc. |

Strength:
great speed and control
Weakness:
they are long and skinny and therefore hard to get huge spins. these skis are ok. i wouldnt reccomend buying them over the k2 fattys. i have been using them for 2 years and they have awesome speed, nice control, and they are lightweight. i am 5''8'' and a half and they are up to my waist.
