Strength:

Weakness:
poor fit, won't conform to your head, ridiculously rigid interior light and well-made, but the inside of this thing is hard as a rock. it's so uncomfortable that i'm returning it. Similar Products Used: old-style pro-tec ace (BMX) |

Strength:
Hard sheel, great graphics, absolutely the best interior outfitting available.
Weakness:
None Purchased this product for WW kayaking, not snowboarding. As the flamer above noted, this helmet is CE 1385 rated. It is the bomb! Best helmet for the money, by far! I have recommended it to all my kayaking buddies! Plus, the graphics are the best on the river. It's true the Freeride makes your head warm, and the Halfpipe has vents. Take your choice. Similar Products Used: Also own helmets by Wildwasser and Happy 2-B (Europe) and a skateboarding helmet by Protec that is a POS. |

Double Diamond
Strength:
good for laps at your local pool
Weakness:
about as much good as growing an afro DONT BUY THIS HELMET!!!!!! Helmets are not required by law to meet any safety standards, the manufacturer decides wether or not to meet them. Prot-tec decided that even though this model is marketed for snow use, it only needed to certify it for "water-use" standards. read the little white stickers on the inside of the helmet. it says CE-1385. that means it passed strength test designed for water sports. much less than needed for snow sports. sont make the same mistake i did, buy a helmet from a company that doesnt put their profits ahead of your safety. |
