Rented these for 3 days in hakuba japan, almost stole them. Great in the easy 2 foot powder I had. Not so stiff in the ankle for carving groomers. but soo comfy and no pressure points or loose spots. If I can find them this season, I might just get a pair.
Leaning back through steep powder turns was like an arm chair.

- very quick to put on (speed lace) - very comfortable (can be worn all day without chewing up your shins. - the walk / ski switch comes in handy

- the para-cord laces may be a little weak.

I just purchased these boots. From what I have noticed, these boots are great. If your looking for a SOFT yet sturdy boot that provides excellent comfort, these boots are for you. Salomon has again, done a great job creating a boot with comfort but great performance in mind. A great beginner/intermediate boot.
