Wow, that pretty much sums up this jacket. With no precipitation you really dont need much more as a outer layer. Pit zips work great when the sweat starts to build when you are active. THe schoeller stretch fabric has good water resistance and keeps the fleece from getting too abraded when carrying a pack. Arc Teryx is simply a great company and if you can afford it this is a great jacket.
