None Bought this jacket for a 12 say backpacking trip in the Rockies. The construction is excellent and is very warm, however, it does not stop the wind. This fleece works great with a shell but don''t expect it to stop cold drafts - go for Mountain Hardware or Arc''Teryx for windstoppers Similar Products Used: None |

I have been wanting a wind-proof (or semi-windproof) fleece jacket for eons. I got mine today for $80 on sale at REI. The pants are on sale now as well. The construction is very sturdy and it looks to last a while. I bought this for "in-between" days. Somehow it seems that my Synchilla jacket is usually too much under my shell and too little without my shell...go figure. Similar Products Used: None |

I had high hopes for this jacket, but it's usually too warm. If you work hard on hikes and gain lots of elevation, this jacket is too warm and the pit zips don't do all that much for you. I found myself tying it around my waist more often than not. Great for around town and easy (but cold) hikes. Similar Products Used: Lots of fleece. |

I bought one of these guys a year ago and just recently sent it back. Here's why: in the description on the web-page it says that is is a breathable wind-RESISTANT fleece jacket. Well, when they say breathable, they mean really, really breathable. Breathable, like, not being very Wind-Resistant. I bought it because I needed a Wind-PROOF fleece and I guess the Windhibitor name threw me off. I dunno. Customer Service As described above, I had a little beef with the jacket after owning it for over a year and they are going to give me a refund on it. That, my friends, is no non-sense excellant service. Similar Products Used: None |

For its weight this is the warmest jacket I have ever owned. Like most REI products, the quality is excellent. This jacket is better than other makes of "wind inhibitor" jackets because of the pit zips, which allow you to wear it in a range of temps. Customer Service REI is one of the best outdoor suppliers around. They have one of the best web sites for gear purchases. Similar Products Used: None |
