The 500 is light, at 3lb 8 oz, and boasts a self adjusting toe and well-designed heel piece that is configured to work with nearly any boot - AT or other - that has a welted sole (including the Scarpa Inverno). The 500 can also be used with DIN standard. Safe, simple.
