W Helmets Ripley Helmets

W Helmets Ripley Helmets

DESCRIPTION

Higher Performance Impact Strength If you're going to wear a helmet, you want to wear one that can really perform. With nearly 50% thicker shock absorbing material than most other ski helmets, Ripper® and Ripley® can take a punch. Our shells are a fiberglass composite wth almost three times the stiffness of polycarbonate and ABS, the materials most commonly used by ski and snowboard helmet manufacturers. With a much stiffer shell, our helmet can distribute a point load of impact over the shape the helmet, allowing more of the shock absorbing material to do its job.

This helmet is no longer in circulation. Team Wendy has developed a new and improved W Helmet. I haven''t used it yet. It is due in the stores soon. But, I know from their web site that it is more protective than any helmet on the market for skiing. It also has great features and is for more than one sport.
