Tough shoes. On a tough trip in Killarny Prov Park, the crampons of my buddies MSR's stood up better than anyother shoe on the trip Similar Products Used: Atlas, sherpa |

Hellafied pair of snow shoes. I love mine. I have taken these things on hard pack, powder, ice, all sorts of gooey stuff, and I am impressed. Similar Products Used: None |

I've had a pair of MSR Delni snowshoes for 4 years and have found them excelent. They are awsome for traversing sidehills and I have never had a problem with flotation even without the extra tails. The have held up exceptionally well to my many yo-yo snowboard trips on Mt. Rainier in all snow conditions from powder to ice. Similar Products Used: Tubbs Trekker, Sherpa |

I picked up a pair of these shoes up in Vermont over the past weekend. I had ordered a pair of closeout redfeathers from REI but they had cancelled my order without ever telling me. GOOD for me! I had read about the Denali's on this board before heading to Killington. They were on sale so I picked them up along with the 8" extensions. Hiked up the Long Trail without a problem. This was my first time on modern shoes and I was very happy with their performance. Trail was hard packed and a breeze to walk up and down. Sunk in pretty far when off the beaten path but then again I didnt have the extensions on. I weigh about 200 lbs. Can't blame the shoes for that. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that submitted reviews. This was a great help in deciding what to buy. HAPPY SHOEING! Similar Products Used: Traditional shoes and bear paws. |

I bought my Denali snow shoes over a year ago and have found they are perfect for the heavy coast mtn snow. The tails are not required here and the shoes can be used to climb up very steep grades. They are built well, the bindings keep your feet secure and hold up to the riggors of the mtns. I strongly recommend these snow shoes. I originally bought a different brand of snowshoes and returned them for a pair of the MSR shoes. Although at first I thought they were ugly (because of the non-traditional style) they quickly grew on me. |

These snowshoes are great, they are light and snow doesn't stick to them. One time i was out in sleeting rain and the frozen rain barely stuck to the deck. The binding may look crappy, but you can get in and out of them super easily with mitts on. The tail add on system was a good idea too. You can get the best float for most conditions, with out having exta wieght when not needed. The price was alos good. Similar Products Used: None |

(snowboard/mountaineer)i bought denali's 3 years ago, and they are still go'in strong. mine have the older lace up bindings which work well, when ever i have snapped a lace or broken a hook it has been fixable in seconds(stuff is bound to break after 150+ days of use). some of my friends have the 98 model with the new binding, which makes me want to buy the new ones, heck for the price you can afford to. these have to be the most durable snowshoe known to man, i have seen many atlas and redfeather's get punctures or tears in the decking that makes them useless. my denali's never come off unless i am done useing them, whether it's just walking across some shale or climbing up over a rock band, and even for tree climbing(they work very well for that) i am actually considering buying another pair, for a friend to use or pass my old one's on to someone else.......simply the best hands down. Great shoes, light and grippy as all get out. Simple straight forward binding system that still works with gloves on. Best climbers around. Thermoplastic gets carved up a bit, so they get pretty ugly, but I don't care if they're pretty if they get me where I want to go. Similar Products Used: None |

I purchased these snowshoes last year as recommended by many friends and 'Backpacker mag', and I find these the best snowshoes within a variety of conditions. They are great for many uses because of their size, functionality and cost. the design of the teeth is very durable, and one can side-step with ease, which is tough to do with many others you can find at the same cost .. they also can pack down and strap on a pack with ease. Plus they are inexpensive as far as snowshoes go. great buy! Similar Products Used: redfeather, atlas |
