I have the K2 Clicker snowshoes, which are the Denali with a Clicker compatible plate. I've used the shoes several times this past winter for backcountry snowboarding. I've found the good for climbing and traversing, but over small rollers it's tough going downhill. Yes, I should be on my board, but there are times just getting to the goods that you may need to go down. The Clicker system works great, I'm in and out of the shoes in (truly) seconds. I like the expandable tails, easy on and off, leave'em in the truck. I'd give these things four flaming chilis. Five if I had a few seasons with them for durability test. Similar Products Used: Tubbs, Atlas, Redfeather. Prior to having Clicker setup for snowboarding. Liked the Atlas for non-clicker |

As beginning snowshoers, my husband and I were advised that the Denalis would be good. We love them! They are easy to strap on, and snow and ice don't gunk up underneath as we have seen on other snowshoes. Great price! Similar Products Used: None |

Lightweight, great traction, cheap and hassle-free buckling system make the MSR Denali my choice for mountaineering. Not as bulky as other brand and definately more user friendly. Haven't had problems with the rubber buckling system. If I'm going to be breaking deep snow I think I would opt for the tail extension cuz postholing is for the birds! Overall, good quality and design. Similar Products Used: Tubbs, Atlas |

used these shoes when living in Utah. light, tough, CHEAP, and with the extra tail extensions, they will float in about anything. Also, the K2 snowboard clicker version is a great idea and seemed to work well for all that tried it. Similar Products Used: None |

This is the first pair of snowshoes I've ever owned, so I can't really compare them to any other brands. Most of my snowshoeing is done early winter/late fall, to train for skiing and check out the mountain. Taking the low snow into consideration, I really like these shoes. As I was running down Alta last fall, I was literally landing on pointy rocks which i figure would total shoes built with neoprene(sp?). The solid construction also allows the placement of rails running lengthwise parallel to the foot, these make traversing a breeze where other struggle. The rails are burly, they did not get tweaked at all by the big rock hits. The only downer might be a lack of float in deep lighter snow. Similar Products Used: None |

I USED THESE SHOES IN THE UTAH BACKCOUNTRY AND HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THEM. THEY WORK FLAWLESS AND ARE GREAT ON THE BUDGET. I HIKED AROUND WITH A SNOWBOARD ON MY BACK AND USED THE LONG TAIL ESTENSIONS. I HAD NO PROBLEMS FLOATING ON THE LIGHT UTAH POWDER. I HAVE NOT USED ANY THING ELSE, SO I WOULDN'T KNOW WHAT OTHER PRODUCTS ARE LIKE, BUT DON'T MUCH CARE. THEY WERE THE RIGHT PRICE AND FIT MY SNOWBOARD BOOTS. Light, strong, easy binding to get into and out off. Good side hill and climbing traction. A little noisy on hardpack. Great value. I bushwack many mountains in the Cold river Valley of Maine and these have been a durable and reliable companion. Similar Products Used: Woodies and Tubs |

Outstanding snowshoes for the money, heck they"re good at a higher price.I like the crampons, and the metal ridges on the sides, thy give excellent traction on hard pak and powder alike. As has been said by many others in this review, they are noisy on hard pack and ice. Easy on and off, even with gloves or mitts. And they are bombproof. Customer Service REI always outstanding service. Similar Products Used: Redfeather and Tubbs. |

these things kick butt-do need the extensions but very light and give good float--used on several expeditions--hip-deep snow,85lb pack--changed miserable slogs to simple walks Similar Products Used: None |
