As a winter adventure racer I was looking for a snowshoe that was light, fairly compact, and was durable. I almost bought the Atlas Dual Trac SL but found these at the STP for a ridiculous price. These things rocked my first race - albeit the weren't quite as fast to take on/off as I would have liked (took about 1m to get them of and in my pack). All in all a very durable lightweight and fast snowshoe (and lighter than the Crescent Moon shoe)
