I've owned the Bent Metal BMX bindings for 5 seasons now. They have held up great for the amount of abuse they have taken. The straps are comfortable and are still in great shape - no fraying, cuts, or tearing. As someone else said - the high back doesn't fold down unless the heel cup bolts are loose. But I have had no problems. This past ride I managed to snap the spring inside one of the buckles (heel buckle on skate/push foot). I'm hoping Bent Metal sends me a replacement. Regardless of this spring - it still binds up tight and releases with no problems - they take a lickin' and keep clickin'. I'll buy them again, and again and again. I think Bent Metal would make more money if their stuff wasn't so bomb proof!

the baseplate screw's will come out often which gets very annoying, so if you dont want to pay for new base screws i would recamend technine otherwise they are just fine

oh my he gads, what is that moron talking about that the are bad binders, plastics snap like youre leg if you have plastic binders, these will hold up better than anything else on the market exept technine those are hte only bindings that are plastic that will hold up i recomend those if you cant get some bent's. thats all i have to write.

Very Good Binding. Everything is good about it. Only two design flaws. Firts, the bolt holding the ankle strap is the same bolts that acts as the axis of rotation for the high-back. Hence tightening the bolt for the strap, makes lowering the high-back for storage very dificult. Second, there is metal to metal contact where the high-back rotates to be lowered. This causes grinding and wear to the aluminum. Other than this, excellent binder

what a stupid ass thing to do. the only thing stupider then making fucing metal bindings is buying them. snowboards are made to FLEX! that cannot happen if the bindings on top are metal. if you buy these bindings you deserve to rot in hell

Stiff, cant over-power them, tight, they will hold and direct your power wherever you want.

highback is really stiff. Not too generous when you want a nice, fluid, flush ride.

Great! I have used these on my buddy''''s forum navigator and they rock. Real stiff. Everything goes where you want it to go. The Highback is the stiffest thing ever (good thing-- but could be bad), but maintains good torsion. Very solid binding.
