Strength:

Machine works great so long as belt is not unraveling. Couldn't recommend to anyone else. Customer Service has been pretty cooperative, very apologetic. Seem to realize they have a problem here and it's not just us. Garden 24 hour mobile mechanic

From my perspective, the biggest difference I see from my older missions is the higher high backs, better buckles/straps, and an overall slicker appearance. mobile diesel mechanic

The Burton Cartel Bindings have been the most reliable bindings I have used. I ride 5+ times a week and the bindings took 2 good winters of riding before I ran into little breaks. The plastic base plate makes it secure and grips tightly all the time (unlike metal base plates which tend to strip eventually) and the adjustable highbacks made switching from park to backcountry great but both my toestraps breaking while riding in the second year is the only reason I rate this product 4/5.

the best deal in a burton binding. the team skyback, superstrap, and capstrap are all included. also, the short-glass fiber/nylon baseplate is the most versatile in the line. stiff enough for freeriding, but not too stiff for freestyling.

excellent binding. excellent price.

Picked these up for the 05/06 season and have had about 10-12 full days on them. First off, they are very well constructed and look great. The straps are comfortable and the buckets ratchet and release smoothly and easily. No issues getting in/out of these quickly. Super adjustable, as mentioned in earlier reviews but worth noting again. Binding adjustments can be a big mystery; Burton doesn't REALLY help on that beyond some basic info on their site, so I'm still trying to figure it all out. But for those that know how to tweak, these fit the bill. While weight might be a factor for some, IMHO, I figure after I strapping my 170+ lbs. to the board, a few extra ounces binding weight won't make a whole lotta difference, but if it helps, yes they are light. I mostly freeride but with a lot of time spent riding switch, working on tricks, and hitting a fair amount of air, so all in all, a good workout for these bindings and I haven't found anything to disappoint. Last bindings I rode were Burton Missions which I liked as well. From my perspective, the biggest difference I see from my older missions is the higher high backs, better buckles/straps, and an overall slicker appearance. I'm sure there are material/construction differences too but can't say I noticed a big difference in the ride but that’s just me. All in all, a good binding. Certainly worth looking at.

Excellent binding all the way around. Many options to make these bindings tweakable. The toe-strap fits snug and their is no toe pressure--they fit way better and do not slip off like my old 2005 Technine toe cap straps. The ankle straps fit perfect. I found that the forward lean (especially on my front leg) digs way too much, even at the F2 setting it is a bit painful. So I ride rear F3 and front F1. Maybe the highback is a bit too high? I am not a big fan of forward lean, so I really do not care!

Super adjustable, you can change and adjust just about everything on these bindings. Which is great if you know what your doing. but i wouldnt recommend these for a begginer. even though they look awesome, they can be a pain to get all the settings right. The bindings are feathers. by far the lightest bindings i have ever seen. youd be amazed at how that effects your performance on the mountain. They are SUPER stiff and the high back, is REALLY high. The newly styled toe strap is great. you dont even feel it, but you still get amazing edge control, i would say even better that other toe straps.
