Ratchets. Strap! Awesome bindings, best ratchet/release system out there. A little on the heavy side but well worth it. Similar Products Used: Sims, K2 |

Looks, strap padding, stiffness, infinite adjustability.
Weakness:
Paint. Great bindings. The chrome paint does flake off of the base a little, but the metal underneath is polished, and actually looks just the same. Once all the paint comes off, it looks better. Several reviews above mentioned problems with the release on the buckles. I had the same problem, but discovered that if you push down on the top of the ratchet with your thumb, while at the same time pulling up on the two tabs with your fingers, the buckle will easily release, no matter how tight you have it cranked down. |

Responsive. Strong as SH*T. Studs on back kick ass!
Weakness:
They a bit on the heavy side. Yeah i got these bindings last year and rode them all winter. Like other reviews, i did find the chrome coating a bit weak and faded off on the highbacks. Other than that, they were extremely responsive and did everything i wanted them to do for me. I liked them so much now i want to try this years new flights! Strength:
This binding has alot of strengths. First is the stiff high-back which provides the perfect power for any freestyle rider. Also it has a very easy to use binding clip (this prevents your binding straps from getting jammed).
Weakness:
There are not many weaknesses for this binding. The only problem could be that it is a very high price to afford. The Ride Team binding is great for any freestyle rider. It is great for both jobs and jumps. I have ridden this for a full season and they have never done me wrong. In my opinion this is the best freestyle binding to date. aww crap. just look above
Weakness:
a lil expensive and a little bit on the heavy side. carbon fiber high back doesn''t do anything. just for looks. these are sweet bindings, let me tell you a lil bit why. they have great response in any condition of snow. look freakin better then anything out there. and they form and fit more comforteably as well. Lots of adjustments from boot size to high back angle to strap positioning. Stiff base for accuracy/energy transfer. Padding on the toe and heel straps rock!
Weakness:
For the life of me, I don''t know why they would chrome plate plastic- highback, screw retainers on the toe straps, and heel cup. No such thing as a quick release on the straps too. I battle with it everytime. Price! They should use aluminum rather than the heavy steel material they decided to use to justify he price and to reduce the weight. It took a while to figure out how to get the screws in- the padding prevents the screws from making contact with board without first removing the washers. I thought the screws were too short. Looks good brand new which lasts only the first ride on the lift. A little heavy due to the metal base. Good support on both toe and heel straps. High back has a tooless adjustment and can be rotated. Definitely a better performance than bindings with plastic base if you do more freeriding than freestyle. Amazing looks (when new), stiff, responsive, comfy ankle straps.
Weakness:
Paint scratches easily and chrome on highback and screw surrounds on the baseplate comes off way too easy. Difficult toe straps to undo. Looks aren''t everything but if you goning to make them look this good, try and make it last longer than 1 week! Just used them for a week in France. Great bindings. Very good ankle straps with superb ratchets, nice and stiff, very responsive. Padding on highback holds boot very well around the ankle. Toe strap very difficult to undo if done up tight. Work great but cosmetics are a bit fragile. |

I''''m used to stiff bindings so these work like regular bindings to me. The chrome parts are actually very cheap plastic that scratches off easily. The toe pads should curl up a little bit to meet the toe of most boots (Check out other toe pads on Burton and Sims). The rachets are very hard to release on cold days but fine on warmer days. The ankle straps are comfy and good, toes straps just so so. I''''ve been on these babies for 8 days now, they are very responsive as any metal baseplate bindings should be, they also look sick. The price would be justified if they use better plastic and chrome coating..... Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: K2 Clicker, Rossi SOS, Nidecker Carbon 860, Burton CFX. |
