Salomon Snowboarding SPX 5 Conventional

Salomon Snowboarding SPX 5 Conventional

DESCRIPTION

The Salomon SPX5 snowboard binding is perfect for hitting terrain parks and backcountry kickers. The SPX5 has upped the ante, by delivering the most powerful heelside turns. It's super lightweight, but packs a punch thanks to the oversized power strap, which also provides superior ankle protection.

I bought a package, 156 mandate board, spx 5 bindings and the dialogue boots for 900 new. That was 6 years ago. The bindings JUST Broke this week after getting between 30 and 50 days a year on the mountain as speed control for cypress mountain. I say I got full value and then some from the whole setup. I highly recommend the gear to anyone that asks.

These bindings looked like a great deal when I got them, but they didn't last. After less than 40 rides (and no jumps, rails, park riding, or anything like that), the plastic broke. Salomon refused to do anything about it, so I'm taking what I'd love to call a nice pair of bindings and I'm calling it trash. You can't even recycle them.

Save your money! The fit was great, the ride was great, the comfort was great, but the quality stinks. I don't know what my new bindings will be, but I know I won't buy any more from Salomon.

Customer Service

My shop talked to Salomon, and was refused service. I tried, but Salomon doesn't even list a service email on their web site (pleading personnel problems).
