I bought these because they are incredibly cheap and from what I hear, reliable. However, this was not the case for me in particular. The toe-strap strip snapped off at some point during the trip and I had to spend $10 to get a replacement at the repair shop. Bear in mind that I was not doing anything intense... just relaxed riding. I was told this tends to happen because the strength of the plastic varies due to the manufacturing process. If I were you, I'd throw a few bucks more for the Burton Customs. They are much more comfortable and adjustable.

Cheap! They work great on the loaner. I haven't had to pass it out once since I threw them on it...

Eh, what can I say. They're plastic. They're cheap, beginner bindings. After a week of starting out, one of the straps was already missing. Make sure you check the bolts often, becuase they'll loosen up fast. After one year, the base plate wore out, and my binding was able to spin 360 degrees. I was riding down the mountain and my front leg was spun around almost 180 degrees, I could have really gotten hurt. They're cheap plastic, but for a cheap price.

Strength:

It works and I had no problems with straps or bolts falling out.

Weakness:

On the bottom there are no pads so it scratches your board. The bolts that hold it together aren't flush so it rubs against the highback scraping it up.

These bindings are good but very flexible. They are all plastic. It is great to learn on but i would prefer aluminium bindings. They work great for the price. Spend the couple extra bucks an get aluminum bindings.

Strength:

They stay tight to the board all the time and you never have to tighten the bolts that strap on the board.

Weakness:

The rachets suck because they are plastic and the srews for the straps on the bindings always come of. It just happened to me just the other day and i was pissed so i got some other ones

These Burton bindings work good for you for a while. They are good first time bindings for you to own. But you definetly want something to metal and a lot more sturdy if you have been snowboarding for awhile. Like Drakes.

Strength:

Haven't broken yet after one season of pretty rough riding. Super cheap for something decent and they're lite.

Weakness:

They flex a little too much for my liking and the ratchets could be better.

So I did only pay 100 bucks for these so I guess I couldn't have really expected that much. They're all plastic so they do flex a whole lot. Personally I prefer something thats a little more stiff and also the ratchets are kind of chincy. But again, they do the job and keep me strapped to my board and they were only 100 bucks.
