Strength:
they keep you in place and a very firm. You feel comfortable going down the hill in these.
Weakness:
They hurt my feet a little bit but I think its just from standing in that position the whole time. I believe that these boots are great. I havent used them that much but the times that I have used them I think that they are a very satisfying product. Well worth buying. |

Cheap
Weakness:
Poor fit Heel lift Couldn''t tighten Boots are cheap and within 20 mins on the slopes I could tell why. There is so much heel lift my front foot was aching constantly. I tried everything but just couldn''t get the boot tight enough. I will be buying a new pair in the closed season. |

Strength:
Durable, inexpensive
Weakness:
Loose fit Good boot for the price, sole is very stiff, which I like. I''''ve ridden with them about 10x and they are well built and seem very durable. They are warm but not too bad as long as you wear good thin socks. My major beef is that they don''''t lace up real tight. During hard toe side turns my heels come up way too far. Feels like I could just pull my foot right out. Obviously this sucks, so I fixed the problem by wrapping one of those nylon compression straps around the upper part of each boot to tighten it against my leg/ankle. The straps are the same as are used to attach tents and such onto a backpack. This setup seems hokey but it''''s a hell of a lot cheaper than buying new boots, and it works. Buy these boots if you don''''t want to blow a wad and don''''t mind buying a $2 for straps to tighten them up a bit. |
