this 2010 northwave legend is a good boot i thought that they would be just another boot but they are good they stand out from others comfy straight out of the box the quick lacing is a great idea the metal for less friction was the best idea i have ever seen in a long time for the quick lacing BUT... i had i weak lace and the right lace snaped on me free repair is good becuase if i had to pay for somthing that had to do with the product i would not buy then again i thihnk that they should have a thin wire in the lace to make them even stronger. over all still a good boot very warm very comfortible good flex for me and they are a very fast put on and go boot. might want to check them out for your self just a sugestion |

This boot is pretty comfortable...I can't wait to hit the slopes with it...and I couldn't pass up paying a dollar for a pair of boots especially since my last pair are to small. |

I got a great deal for these brand new 2005 Legends from eBay. These boots are great! They are very warm and comfortable, and hold your heels down very well. Highly recommended! |

Stiffness, lacing system, how tight they are.
Weakness:
I sometimes lose circulationin my toes because of how tight they are. Ultimately they're really stiff boots and while I like them for their stiffness, they're pretty hard to and break in for the same reason. I dig the lacing system and how tight I can make them. They also really comfortable and easy to walk in. |

Everthing from the lacing system, inner sole, and fit, heel lift. I bought these boots on a recommendation from the sales person and because of the name and the great price I got them for. At first I tried on the boot at the store, seem great and comfortable, little heel lift. When I got to the mountain, different story. My foot started to hurt. I figure it to be normal, the boot is new and probably still needs to be broken into. It has been three seasons, and the boot still feels the same. In fact, not only does my foot still hurt, my heel moves all over the place, more heel lift than before, and I get blisters. Keep in mind, these boots match up to my foot size. My toes reach the tip of the boot; hence correct size. By, the way these boots are not recommended for those who have wide feet like myself. Europeans tend to make narrow boots/shoes/ everything. Same with mountain bike shoes (Sidi), whole other issue though. Bottom line, stay away from these boots. Similar Products Used: Burton |

this boot doesnt mold to your feet and the method for tighting the inner linig is a stupid design. This is overall a great boot and the best boot ive ever bought. NorthWave makes good quality stuff and the boot is very well made and will last for a long time. Enough all mountain stiffness without feeling like two 2x4's strapped to my ankles...VERY COMFORTABLE; if you've had problems with other boots that make your feet feel broken after 8 or 9 hours of riding, try these!
Weakness:
I wish the outer lacing system was as good as the inner lacing system...maybe solved with this year's BOA lacing system??! These are by far the best boots I've tried. Comfy out of the box, which at first made me suspicious (would they break down prematurely?)...Haven't broke down yet, still comfy, still warm, won't ever buy another boot manufacturer... Similar Products Used: Burton Ruler, various Vans, various K2...the Burton Ruler was a pretty good boot too, but not as comfy |

dry and warm...super comfy,
Weakness:
a bit soft not enough stiffness and bad lifetime no durability at all, stitching is coming undone, boots crack within the first week of riding All right these boots are super comfy, keeps u super warm and dry...unfortunately... due to the softness and the comfort of the boots they fall apart really easily..Ive had mine for about 4 months and done about 30 riding days in them (the life of these boots are usually 90 days), I have been doing alot of rock and cornice drops and jumps which probably push the boots to its limites... they are still dry but the heel is distarting to digging in and and inners are slipping all the time like, theyve always done that since ive gotten them (what hedge from london was sayin)...and just the other the actual inner laces snapped as hedge had feared... also the boot is starting to crack already a common problem with northwave boots Similar Products Used: heelside, salamon dialouges, burton drivers. |
