For me the choice was simple. I had boots that were causing me a world of pain because they didn't fit me right. When I put on these Kiana's, they just fit perfectly. They're about a medium stiffness, and I use mine with Ride EX bindings. Pros: *Comfortable *Lacing system is a dream come true, no fumbling with laces (use a handle to tighten them, and there are two points at which it locks to hold it snug.. the handle clips onto the boot while riding) *Good treads so you aren't slipping in the lift line *Durable - mine still look and feel new after 2 years (might replace my insole though) Cons: *Colours, which doesn't really matter Just a note, these boots are pretty wide so you definately want to check to make sure that they are a good fit with your binding.
