Strength:
no heel lift, cool lacing system, warm, comfortable (like wearing sneakers)
Weakness:
price...i got an okay deal on them the lacing system feels like it's weak the area around the toes felt tight but my toes didn't hurt after riding This boot is great. Perfect for women. I got an ankle injury using male boots but these help me ride even with the injury. the inner lining holds the foot in snuggly. the lacing system is great. need to buy a size smaller. i usually wear 7.5 but i take a 6.5 in these. Strength:
Wide, great for people with fat feet. Stiff, responsive, comfortable. Very little heel lift.
Weakness:
The ONLY complaint I have is the boot tends to dig into my ankles a bit. Not sure if it's a common problem. These boots are great! They've made the biggest difference for me. They super comfortable, stiff, wide enough for women with wide feet, easy to lace, they look cool and not girly. Salomon has got the right idea. Stiff support for ankles; easy to lace yourself, even if you don''t lift weights (no more begging a guy to lace your boots for you!); molds to your foot shape in less than ten uses; plenty of toe room; accurate sizing: I wear the exact same size in my shoes; warm toes even at 25 degrees below zero; very comfortable and versatile enough to use with other brands of bindings. Read on for the customer service success story!
Weakness:
Once, the small grey inner latch (inner-lacing system) broke on my left (lead) boot in sub-zero temps. But the boot still worked fine, no real loosening on the lacings and no lack of support. In fact, I continued to ride without incident all day. And, a strength: Salomon completely replaced my boots within 4 business days, simply because the lacing latch was out of stock at the time. What fantastic customer support! The absolute best pair of boots I''ve ever worn! I have skinny heels and high arches (chick feet--that''s woman, not the animal!), and have never had luck with Burton, Oxygen or any others like Salomon. Similar Products Used: Burton, Oxygen |

None POSTING FOR THE WIFE: Awesome boots!!! Moldable liner makes a big difference in comfort, fit, and overall riding experience! No heel lift is always a plus. Salomon quality shine again! PRICE: It hurts to pay that much for boots, but it''s worth it when you divide it by the days that you ride comfortably! STYLE: Is off the hook! She really likes the lacing system too, all you have to do is pull, push the locking mechanism, roll the laces and tuck on the side off the boot (cool design, you have to check it out to know what I''m talking about) If you can''t afford it, atleast try it on to really appreciate an excellent pair of boots!!! By the way the board is acting up, ignore the "BackCountry Skier" up top. Similar Products Used: Burton Ruler |
