I have tried on several pairs of boots and these are by far the best fitting. My Northwaves were slightly more comfortable, but the fit on these are superior and NO HEEL LIFT. The wire lace system in my opinion will prevail over conventional laces in the future. They are easy on and easy off and you can really tighten the wire so the boots fits perfectly. I took them to Whistler and I think I was the only guy on the mountain that had these boots. Everyone was asking about them. Expensive at $270 but worth every penny. I will never go back to conventional laces again.

I had a chance to ride these at HCSC this summer. They feel like a sneaker, one of the most comfortable boots I''ve worn, despite the kind of harsh look that the metal wire gives them. They go on in a flash, and when you tighten them by spinning the dial on top, they usually stay where you left them, not lkie laces that usually get looser. My roomate was able to get out of both boots from a tightened state in 5 seconds, so even though they stay tight on your foot, they still come off wicked quick, no tugging. They''re listed for like $320 on the vans website, which is pretty ridiculous for any pair of boots, but they are definitely my fav. boots that I have tried recently. I like them better than the new D.C.s and the new Northwaves.

The only other boots with the boa technology are some k2 womens CLICKER boots, so I probly won''t have the chance...
