I was going to buy a standard Custom but since I demoed the LE I was concerned that the topsheet difference might affect the ride. Initially, I was luke warm about it and had some concerns about its durability, but after a full season on it I have to say that it has held up OK and the look has grown on me. Strength:
Fast, great carving, great float, very nimble for a 168. I never overpowered it and I ride very hard.
Weakness:
Ugly green color- which I don't mind because it shouldn't get stolen Delamination- unacceptable, and sad because I loved that board and Burton doesn't make them any more. Three stars. I loved this board (5 stars), but it delaminated after 8 days of riding(1 star). First the positive: great power, very very fast, great carver, quick edge to edge, GREAT in powder. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to ride hard and fast all over the mountain. Nice and stiff, not for you new school rail monkeys. Unfortunately, the topsheet cracked and the nose delaminated after only 8 days of riding. Maybe it was from riding moguls all day in -35 degree weather, but it is still no excuse for a high-end board. I love Burton boards and hopefully their warranty is as good as it sounds and I'll be back out there in a week. Otherwise, I'll take my money elsewhere. Strength:
it is fast, has good snap
Weakness:
doesn't fit in all the cabins of the slope elevators This is a great board, i even almost bought an extra to keep that one new i my current one is on its end. I didn't buy an extra yet but i defenitly will if i see it cheap. Great board for cruising, off piste as well as one the slopes. Even in the pipe however then its size (i've the 173 which is rather long for me since i am 186 and just 78 kg) is too much. This year i was going 101 km/h (64 miles/h) and still steady. Cant wait on my next trip |

Strength:
Good response and is an excellent carving board. Cruises very fast and is stable.
Weakness:
It's length creates more opportunity to catch an edge on granular and wipe out. Its length also makes it difficult to do a lot of tricks from its sheer weight. This is definitely more for the rider who wants to cruise fast and carve. A shorter board would be better for the hotdoggers. I've riddent this board on both wet granular and packed powder. It has amazing response and is a great board. This works best for west coast or riding in the rockies. East coast mountains are better suited for a shorter board. I have it rigged with Switch Special X step-in bindings and have the 173cm model. I am 6'4", 215. It works fine for me and is faster than my Canyon 64. Similar Products Used: Burton Canyon |

flex, fast base, solid, goes as hard as you want it to, got awesome price 400 bucks cdn, which is 180 great british pounds, and they were selling it for 330 quid in england so....
Weakness:
have dented and gouged base, although small, some skier****, whilst i was watching knocked it off the rack whilst i was havin apres, and dented the edge which cost 30 bucks cdn to fix i must admit his skis which were placed where my board was were placed on the ground, he was not happy the stupid arogant **** but not all skiers are scum by the way just a select few awesome board, all you need from a freeride board, even does halfpipe (sort of) Similar Products Used: burton seven, and the learn to ride board |

Strength:
High tech snap, all out speed, well constructed base, and durability.
Weakness:
Top laminate scracthes easily. Purchased the Cascade at the begining of the 02-03 season and enjoyed each and every ride on the Cacade. The Casacde delivers a great combination of high tech snap, all out speed, and durability. With a great powder nose the Cascade is willing and able to take you anywhere anytime. Base is very resistive to scratches and abrasions. Similar Products Used: Burtons, Sims |
