The Burton Floater is a great overal board. I have the Floater 155. It is very smoothe, fast, and flexible. It is a great ride down the mountain.

Strength:

high speed ability. sweet to land on after jump.

Weakness:

turns too slow, difficult to control at lower speeds.

The Burton Floater main feature is probably its high speed ability. Not many boards manuver so smoothly, although at slow speeds it's tricky to turn fast from edge to edge. I've ridden many wide boards and some like Forum DW Wide turns really fast.

Strength:

Quality. Good smooth ride with no suprises.

Weakness:

A bit slow going from edge to edge, however a bit expected with a wider board.

This board is a great all mountain board for anyone with larger feet. Has a couple of minor dings but overall quality seems very good after 1.5 seasons. Can''t speak for powder since we never get any in New England, but on hardpack in slices and dices just fine for me.
