Burton Punch Freeride

Burton Punch Freeride

DESCRIPTION

Without a doubt the single best board for lighter riders, the Punch series comes on with performance to spare. Other companies try to pass off foam cores on their smaller models, these have the real deal: Super Fly II with EGD. Shaun’s 143 features a sintered base for increased speed in all snow conditions. 140 and 145 are one boot size wider. Extruded Base: Durable and easy to maintain. Biax: Easy flex, lots of board feel. Super Fly II Core: Light, strong, and lively flex. Dualzone EGD: Precise edge hold.

Strength:

Good pop and great flex.

Weakness:

none really just don't get the board if you are too heavy for it.

I rode a Burton Punch for the season's of 99-00, 00-01, 01-02, and it is a great beginner board. I've stepped up to a Motion which is a better board but I miss my little Punch. It was a 137 and it was awesome, the best board for beginners. I'm getting another one for rails and sh*t like that. I can't wait to ride one again they have great flex and a descent amount of pop. they are super light which is great. If you're looking for a good board for beginners this is the one, don't go for Forum or Sims or anything because they are overrated and should be shot.

Dont listen to anyone who says this board sucks. This board was awesome for me. I used a whole lot and i never had to repair it in any way. i rode it with flow boots and bindings and had no trouble with anything. the board is pretty fast and corners alright

Strength:

great speed performance with the sintered base tuff.... sintered flex is great u can hit big jumps easy n go fast bc the flex is right graphics...... OK not da best, but that doesnt matter

Weakness:

rusts if u dont clean it off after u use it, but oddly the rust comes off after u use it again for a full day, but b sure to clean it off just incase ur not as lucky as me

dont listen to that retard up there at the top. hes probably like 3lbs or just really sux (the only explination of it bein to stiff) n hes also a wimp bc he cant lift a friggin plank! but im not just givin this board n ad, i tried it n it was great. The base survived rock patches n rammin into my friends. i beat my friend who is one of those slow burton bullets. the cruising n turning is good if u no anythin about boarding(unless ur "advanced" n named chris n liek to suck). umm........ i got this board ofr a good deal too bc i got it for the christmas sale. good stuff

The punch is a pile of sh*t. Don''t waste your time riding it. It''s heavy, very stiff, and can''t even ride straight. The people who say this board is good, are dumb asses (possilby edited out curse word), who are tryign to market it.

Nothing is similar. It''s just better.
