i went to colorado during my spring break and brought the recon with me. held up really well in the deep powder and held onto the places where there were icy patches. definitely the smoothest ride i've felt compared to my burton air. i rode 157 both boards. the recon is a bit on the heavy side but it sure performed like something else. no chatter at higher speeds and a board i'd take anywhere.
