Strength:
sidecuts make carving easy as pie! rather stiff = rather fast, carbon insert makes it pretty much indestructable. best part about the signature is smackin around all the colorado locals with there never summer tanks
Weakness:
gotta no how to ride or it could mess you up my option signature is by far the quickest fates most enjoyable board ive ever ridden!! the sig. simply eats up the big colorado powder.the large front end simply guides while matched with salomon spx5 shaped bindings you'd need a hard boot to carve any better the board is flat out sweet. stable carves nicely fast simple black and blue graphics
Weakness:
heavy laminate chips easily I bought the 2002/03 Signature 164 solely for carving in the Rockies. The Signature is stable and manoeuvrable, esp. on narrow runs. It floats well in the powder, and is really fast on the flats. It didn't take to the slippery sections too well, but this improved after the first day and the edges dulled a bit. The board is heavy, but I only noticed this when I was carrying it, or on the lift. The laminate chipped in a number of places after one day. The store sanded them down, but I suspect that I'll get more before the year is out. Works well with the Salomon SP4 bindings. On the whole, I really like riding this board. everything from the pipe to park to rails to big mountain to anything. Ive ridden it in all of these and its the greatest. i used to be big into the backcountry and decided to get this board for more freestyle stuff....and so i got a 153 while im 5-10...its a bit short but it still work awesome for anything. it carves extremely good for a shorter board and handles very well on rails and in the pipe. overall a 10 out of 10
Weakness:
the only thing is that since i bought such a small board i cant go as fast or hit as much powder. but thats what my old boards for....so unless your only doing the park allllll the time go for the 157 and the topsheet is a little touchy but who cares as long as it still works this board is simply amazing.....I wouldnt trade it in for any other board. This board is sweet. It lands easily, cruises in powder effortlessly, and is nice and stiff.
Weakness:
The only weakness that I can think of is the boards stiffness. It''''s stiffer than my previous board, which I like, but in my opinion, its a little too stiff. For example, it is kinda hard to do nosepresses and stuff like that. This is the best board I have ever ridden. It has killer pop, total stability, and dope looks. I found it for a good price, which makes the board even better. Buy this board!!!!! Similar Products Used: Oxygen Globe, Ride Control |
