Rome Snowboards Design Freeride

Rome Snowboards Design Freeride

DESCRIPTION

Nose-shaped tip and tail give ambidextrous float in the powder, while the powerful directional core profile provides the foundation for down-mountain speed and control. Variable transition zones, standard width, and a long radius sidecut deliver confident stability.

Cairn
Snowboarder

Nice ride, v stable at speed, light and agile, quick edge-to-edge, pretty good edge-hold, nice balanced twin-tip shape.
BUT...
Very thin base (less than .5mm, no room for even one re-grind) could not withstand any contact with rocks, and ripped through to the base way too easily. After only 10 days riding, base utterly destroyed, and one edge ripped completely out. For an expensive board, this is pretty poor durability.
