Bought my never summer legacy along with forum Shaka bindings and ride Hy-Phy boots and am really happy I did. Awesome setup for all-mountain riding and the quality is top notch. I've put this board though some serious abuse and there is hardly a scratch on it. Buckeye truck repair

This board rocks! I got it for a great price from a friend, and learned to snowboard it. This is the only board I have ever ridden, and have no reason or desire to ride another. It took me from a very beginner to where I am now, a decent rider, in two days on the slope. The only con, if you would even consider it a con (I don't) is that it is super fast. As a beginner, it forced me to pick up turning immediately or I was flying down the mountain like a missile, flying past everyone else. I like a good challenge, and it forced me to challenge myself to make those turns right off the bat, no messing around here. I learned on this board and will continue riding this thing till it falls apart, love it!

This is a great over all board. it has an all around snappy feel to it and is ideal for anywhere on the mountain

The Salomon 450 is like the Toyota Camry or Honda Accord of snowboards. It's solid and reliable. No one can criticize the overall quality of this board. Beginners may have a little trouble with the stiffness. The 450 is a great board for intermediate to advanced riders. Advanced riders wanting to improve their skills may want to move to a more technical board (i.e., moving from a Toyota to a Lexus). I've been riding this board for 3 years and have dramatically improved my skills with it. The board handles very well at high speeds and has great response and feel. Generally, it's a great freeriding board. Freestyling is another story. The board is stiff and durable and will give you a solid landing on a jump but little pop when taking off. It also handles a rail decently if you're doing 50-50. The heavy swing weight of the board though is a real drag if you're on the pipe or doing spins. It'll suck the energy out of you after a while, moreso than other boards. Overall, you freeriders can't go wrong with the 450.

Where do I begin???!!! First off, the tail drifts off like a log in the ocean. Its very slow to respond. I was actually winded after a couple of runs. You really have to work with this board. And forget about try to go to the park with this thing.

Well with the 450, you really know that a ski company made this board. It has a lighting fast core and base but that's pretty much all I can say about it. I don't know if it's defective or an imitator cause this ride SUCKS!!! Going from a Nitro Naturals to this really was disappointing.

Well-made & very fast. Great in powder and on the slopes.

Weighs a ton compared to similar sized boards (especially the W4). Unforgiving for the beginner. Not responsive enough in the park.

well that was a lie i have not stepped foot on the mountain yet but i just got the board and its so hott i wanna take it outside and go skitching on the street! the color is unbelievebly detailed and im dieing to take it this weekend to the slopes.

If you like carving- feeling the flex of the board catapult you into the next turn, this board will not disappoint. I've been riding this board for a few years already and to this day, I still have no desire to try another board. This board does everything well and I can't imagine anything else doing better.

They don't make this board anymore :( 2003 Salomon boards are all different. Man I loved this board. Probably a little too stiff for begginers.

This board carves like it's on rails, bombs runs like there is no tomorrow and stomps rails and hips like your a mad man.
