Greeaat board, borrowed my friends. very smooth ride and hits the turns real well. at high speeds i dont experience the tail drag like the previous forums. TOO bad this board is no longer around. If anyone has one, Ill buy it off them. im size 153

this board is just sick. i ride the 159 and it eats up the mountain like a fat lady in white castle. i adjusted to it like on my first run. some kid finally stole it at mt creek, NJ. if you buy it, lock it up.

The lightness of the board is very important esp if your trying rotations off of jumps or onto rails, and this board is way light.

Such a good board, lots of pop its kinda stiff but you get used to it

-ultra stiff -progressive sidecut -excellent in icy conditions

-not the lightest board -slider system (could go either way with this one)

This review is for the 2002 model with Devun's "insect" graphics. Specifically the 157, white with a grey dragonfly. The DW 157 is ultra stiff which makes it stable at high speeds and sticks like glue in icy conditions. The edge holds like a train on rails, point the tip where you want to go and hold on (especially is you like boogying down the mountain). Board has some pop, although I havent done much jumps or park/pipe riding yet so I cant comment to much on this area. I mostly freeride and this board is perfect for my style...cruising and full-out boogying down the mountain.
