I've riden a 164 Joni Makenin for 5 years. It's taken a beating and lasted, I just managed to send it onto the snowboarding heaven of continuous powder last week. The guys in the shop said any other board would of split in two if I'd done what I did to the Makinen (stomped on on an unseen rock from a good height) - this board is ultra tough! I'm gutted they don't make this model anymore. I could hammer it onpiste at mach 1 and it held like a dream, it rode switch well, stomped everything and had more pop than a junky on poppers! When it got in the pow it was like a sniffer dog going for a columbian's luggage, it was on a mission. Plus it was black and had the way dark graphics of Death waving his hand over 3 trees, I was even scared of this! Which meant no-one in their right mind would try to steal it when I stopped for a beer/scoff in the afternoon. If you come across one of these boards and like to ride hard, stomp loads of jumps and finished every day with a big smile on your face - grab it with both hands!
Think I'm gonna try a Rome Design or Anthem next as I think they will ride similar.

This board will kick the crap out of you at every chance possible! But by god its good fun. That's all I have to say! Price in £ not $
