I felt like a kid when I for the Sidestick for xmas, particularly because I was St. Anton-bound for New Year! It has been one of the most effortless boards to ride, which, along with the sick stick, made hungover boarding a lot more pleasant.

There was a lot of hype surrounding it. So many board gimmicks are just sexified marketing, but you do notice the turn transition with the Quadratic core. It caught fewer edges and floats like a dream in powder. The reverse camber also comes in handy for lifting up above the snow.

The whole board is nice and poppy, which is epic for hitting lips, cliffs and trees. On the piste it’s really stable and fun to ride, so it’s well worth the investment.
