So Columbia overcame this phenomenon by giving the Women's Best Dam Down Jacket a waterproof breathable, fully seam-sealed shell to seal rain and snow out. Then, to up the thermostat even more, an Omni-Heat thermal reflective lining reflects and retains your body heat inside the jacket. A drop tail keeps your lower back covered as you sit on the ski lift, and an adjustable storm hood keeps the snow off your face. When the sun peeks out from the clouds and things warm up, just open the underarm vents for a little fresh air.
