Summary:
The Grivel G-10's are a great pair of crampons for general mountaineering use. I have used them on Cannon, Adams and Monadnock in New Hampshire with no problems whatsoever: no balling, no loosening, no nothing. The 10 points provide plenty of grip, while still allowing easy walking since the points are not as aggressive as some of the other crampons out there (Sabertooths, etc.)I use the new classic binding (not step-in) on a 27 year old pair of leather Molitors (Raichle) that I just can't seem to give up. They are simple to put on. My friend uses his on a pair of Columbia Bugabootoo's with like results.

Summary:
These Are my firs pair of crampons I ever bought and I love them. I have used them on MT. Washington and I plan on taking them with me to Chamonix next winter for glacier travel and backcountry skiing. They are very light and colaps to be very small and easy to to store in your pack. I love how versitile they are too. I can were them on my sorels with barly any modifications to the rubber soles or they can go in my timberland hiking boots comfortably for late winter hiking and what suprised me the most is I can hven get them on my Solomo ski boots too. Un fortunatly if you have a foot biger than mine a 8.5 mens you probubly wont get them on to a pair of ski boots. THe ski boots made them feel almost riged enough to do some moderate vertical ice but it cant be very hard ice though.
Over all I love them.

Customer Service:
Never need it yet. But I went to their web sight and I was up set that you cant order direct from them or e-mail them you have to call and it is in Cormyare Italy. I want to order a sertain leash for my Pamir axt and see if they have an extra long agustment plate for the G-10s. Only complaint though
