Price Paid:  $150.00 at eBay

Summary:
For an older board (came out in 2000, I think), this board holds it's own with the newer boards. It's a little heavier (17 lbs) but still rocks. You can get them now for a steal, since they're a little older. But make no mistake, this board can take whatever you can dish out. I have had mine for a year now, ridden hard, made some pretty considerable drops on it, and it didn't even flinch. It boardslides like smooth butter on a bald turtle, and carves like Andy Irons! If you don't have the coin for a Core 16 or a Comp 26, then go with the Blade. It won't let you down. I have modified mine with MBS "multiflex" bindings, which allow a more custom stance, and that's nice, but even the stock bindings work fine. (By the way, definitely install eggshocks - you'll thank me later. Yellow is best, orange makes turning pretty difficult, but are good for big air.)

Customer Service:
MBS has pretty good service (I've never had a problem)

MBS Ambush Warrior, Mongoose (I don't remember what model, cause it broke pretty quickly)

Best board in the whole world! Awesome for mad airs, flips, spins, and grabs. Its very easy to handle, and turns on a dime. Large wheels will roll over anything. Great for all levels of riding. Two thumbs up for the Blade!

Summary:
I just learned on this board. It rode very loose until medium egg shocks were installed. That made a huge difference in ease of control at higher speeds. It was my friends' board, and now I want one just like it (unless there's a lighter version coming out this month). I'm hooked!! I paid my dues in newbie injuries, now I rarely fall. Need to find more hardcore hills, I guess. Really nice board, though. I'd recommend it, even though I haven't tried any others, lol.

Summary:
I have had no problems with the board in the 8 months I have had it. It delivers an excellent ride quality with a couple modifications. I would not suggest riding it with out egg shocks it is very unstable. I also had a lot of problems coming out of the bindings as i jumped but I have since cut down the binding posts and now have a much more secure hold. Great once I got it set up the way I needed. Does much better absorbing bumps than either of the Mongoose boards I have tried because of the awesome deck. Also an excellent deal for $200. Look for them cheap now that a new generation is out from MBS.
