Price Paid:  $400.00 at bmw of san diego

Summary:
it's the best at what it was made for, carving, you can't find anything with the amount grip and carving capibility.
it's not made for jumping, not even off a curb. it's not really a skateboard. it's made for cruising and carving. if that's what you want, this is the pinnicale, it doesn't get any better. once you get the feel for it, it's a scalpel.

Customer Service:
one arm (link) did loosen up and start to un screw(noticed wobble while riding) used a tight fit 16mm wrench to tighten, back to new.

Similar Products Used:
several wooden long boards (sector nine and similar)

Price Paid:  $450.00 at BMW Dealership in St

Summary:
I'm a college student at UCDavis and I was given the street carver as a graduation gift. At UCDavis, riding a bike is the only decent way to get from class to class. Keep in mind, I've never ridden a skateboard in my life, but I have enjoyed mountain biking for quite a long time. I hardly bother riding my Cannondale F700 to class ever. The street carver is well built, good looking and a blast to ride, even though there are no hills on campus. If you can get enough money to buy one, and you're even slightly interested, go for it.

Price Paid:  $425.00 at Local BMW Dealer

Summary:
I have two of these. One is perfect,,,the was too until it was about a month old.
Used strictly for carving,,,no jumping,,no sliding,,,nothing abusive. For some reason number 2 board now vibrates like crazy. The dealer has no idea how to warranty it. This has been going on since fall 2002,,warranty expires Oct 2003.
20+ calls over 6 months has produced NADA! STAY CLEAR!
