Ok I bought this board last spring and didn't try it until this winter. First of all, the board had really nice looking. It has nice and discreet drawing with glossy finish. It's a subjective point but I would like to mention it. The construction is really well balanced. Torsional flex and longitudinal flex is present and perfect for to easily learn the base, to always being in control and land tricks for a N00B like me. The sintered base is a good feature to ride faster and smoother. At this price, despite the "Type II Full Wood Core" that suppose to be lighter, the FS600 is a bit heavy board. I'm not disapointed at all for the price I paid. I'm pretty sure that I'll continue to ride this board for few seasons... and eventually make some trick really soon :-) So to wrap this up... this is a FAT wicked board for begginer and intermediate riders looking for a 1st riding board to learn and progress quickly.

Customer Service

Sportmart is a great place to buy stuff. Don't go to SportExpert or InterSport!!!! They are a bunge of dumb sellers and don't give a good damn advices! They don't know what they talking about. Worse... their products are generally overpriced!!! About Sims... I send them an email to ask few question about my board and they NEVER answer me.

This is a 2003 FS600, not a 2002-the above option wouldn't allow 2003 for some reason. I'm new to boarding and after one afternoon riding on this board I had improved a lot. It does everything I want it to and goes where I want it to go-important when you are new to boarding. I wanted a board that I could learn on and grow into rather than getting a 2nd rate product and having to replace it 1-2 yrs down the road. Not that looks were important to me-but this is a nice looking board!! Everything I could have hoped for and the price was right too! Buy from a place that will let you rent or demo a board first. Try before you buy!!

that it has NO weaknesses

The first time i saw this board, i knew i had to get it. Now i am glad i made the decision to buy it.Its got sick graphics especially on the 156.The sinthered 4000 base makes it sooo fast (compared to my old board with an extruded base)Its got nice pop for ollies and its a board i will recommend to intermediate/advanced riders to get....not bad for the price too
