Strength:
None
Weakness:
None Outrageous price for something that would be eaten by saltwater instantly. Petzl will soon have serious cometition. Saying that it does beat filament lamps with similar batteries on brighteness, lightenss and battery life. The LEDs are availble from www.maplin.co.uk if you fancy making something yourself. Sure, it doesn't swivel or zoom, but it weighs next to nothing, it's bright enough to night hike with, and it lasts forever on a set of triple-A's. An absolutely unbeatable combination. My only complaint (and this is negligable) is that its not quite aimed right for reading at night. But for all other activities, this puppy is unbeatable. Loose your old headlamp and loose a pound out of your pack! Similar Products Used: None |

The Tika is lightweight, small, very bright, comfortable and easy to adjust for any size head. It burns nearly forever with just three AAA batteries. It is quite simply a great piece of gear. It casts more than enough light for chores around the campsite and can easily help you navigate a trail at night if called upon to do so. If it fits your needs, then don't hesitate. Buy it! Customer Service No need to use customer service at this time. Similar Products Used: Night Sun and Night Rider (mountain bike lights). |

I was going to get one of these until I saw the Black Diamond Moonlight. The moonlight is has a more powerful LED setup so it's a lot brighter, has a tilting head and is water resistant. The Tikka's obsolete. Similar Products Used: None |

Extremely happy with the light. I never bought one in the past because they were to big and bulky, plus just more batteries to carry. This light not only is light and puts out more than ample lumens, the best part is one set of batteries (3 AAA) easily lasts for the a short three or four day camping trip. This sure beats holding my Mini-maglite in my teeth. Similar Products Used: None |

Agree entirely with Dave H. I bought the Tikka in early May and have used it for one weekend camping in Norfolk England and for a week in the Allegheny State Forest NY. Excellent value bright light and very little weight. Similar Products Used: None |
