Over the weekend I got the distinct feeling that this will be the only pair of hiking boots I own for a very long time. after figuring out if are drywall and sheetrock the same thing, I realized, the leather is smooth and the sole is oil resistance Weakness:

At first sight, the boots look great. Yes I agreed they are comfortable, the leather is smooth and the sole are oil resistance.But there is one flaw, after normal usage of two weeks water started seeping into my feet. So it is not that waterproof as claimed. |

I bought these boots 1 month ago. They are great quality and fit nice in the foot area. If you have skinny ankles they do not have enough support. It would be nice to have more ankle padding so they could be used for heavy duty hiking. Similar Products Used: Merrell Summit II, that I had for 10 years. They were great boots, but the soles wore out. |
